Don’t ask how an advertising guy with an Italian last name could become a Texas barbecue aficionado with a smoker big enough to have its own trailer. One theory is that since Charlie has spent thirty years helping dozens of clients launch and grow big brands in almost every industry, he knows something about lighting fires.
Charlie has managed large national accounts like Nestlé, Borden Snack Foods, Earthgrains, Juicy Juice, Coca Cola USA, Schering-Plough, Abbot Laboratories and Anheuser-Busch. And, his palate is a bit more sophisticated than just barbeque. His restaurant experience includes Taco Cabana, Arby’s, Don Pablo’s, Grandy’s, Sonny Bryans, Taco Bueno and El Chico Café. Charlie believes both advertising and dining are deeply passionate experiences.
Recognized by Who’s Who of American Business Leaders as an industry leader, Charlie has held executive positions at Publicis and Ted Bates Worldwide. Serving on the board of directors of AIDS Service of Dallas, his goal is to raise both community awareness and corporate donations.
The father of four, Charlie loves big family gatherings, his overly affectionate Golden Doodle and of course, his own boss and wife, Lana.
